we needed room for more, so we simply improvised
pushed everything off to the side and we were satisfied
there was a blank area in the very center of the mess
but we were just happy we were making some progress
we sat in that blank area in the center of the mess
it was the perfect area for us to just digress
so digress we did, and we felt pretty satisfied
we talked about whatever was on our minds and felt electrified
you had your silver lighter and i had my white cigarette
and you lit your silver lighter and i lit my white cigarette
we proceeded to sit real close and shared greedy puffs
until you got up and walked away when you've finally had enough
