you might be at my side, but i am still alone
alone with my thoughts, alone without a cause
by myself on a mighty throne made of stone
away from the ground, from where i have flown
minding my own business, letting myself go
throwing everything away and hoping it will show
the many simple mistakes i have yet to atone for
alone and in complete peace, to where i have soared
